2006 Three Coins Cabernet Sauvignon

Inky garnet violet color. Bright aromas of cassis, fresh eucalyptus leaf, roasted nuts, and cedar follow through on a supple entry to a dry-yet-fruity medium-to-full body with tart berry, chocolate, and cherry skin notes. Finishes with a crisp, tangy, powdery tannin fade. Nice and smooth; pair with Mediterranean veal dishes.

The complex, dark fruit selected for this wine, hanging from the vines like rubies sparkling in the sun, produces a wealth of complex flavors. Layered notes of blackberries, cherries, plums and hints of toasted oak end in a rich, long finish, just waiting to be revealed. The winery recommends pairing this with seared Ahi tuna.
